Have you pondered this truth lately?

Nothing in this life can bring you real lasting fulfillment and/or satisfaction; not your education, your home or other possessions, not your family, not any combinations of things "going on" in your life, not projects, rededications, momentary successes--nothing!

The only fulfillment in this life is our daily fellowship with God! Paul wrote: "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your heart on things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God the Father. (Colossians 3:1)

When Jesus Christ is truly Lord of your life, all of life seems to flow peacefully (not necessarily implying that you don't have tests). When He is not the Lord of your life, nothing else you have will be satisfying!
